We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care for dogs during their walks. This role involves not only walking dogs but also ensuring their safety, health, and happiness while in our care. Responsibilities

  • Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.

  • Monitor the behavior and health of the dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner or management.

  • Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior.

  • Maintain a safe environment for the dogs by being aware of surroundings and potential hazards.

  • Clean up after dogs during walks and ensure proper disposal of waste.

  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.

  • Assist with basic grooming tasks as needed, such as brushing or bathing.

  • Provide additional pet care services such as feeding or pet sitting when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.

  • Knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is a plus.

  • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.

  • Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while ensuring their safety.

  • Familiarity with basic veterinary care and animal restraint techniques is beneficial.

  • Must be physically fit, able to walk long distances, and handle various dog sizes.

  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

  • Certification in pet first aid or CPR is a plus but not required.
