Crossroads Country Club Pet Resort is seeking a new manager to join our leadership team!
Crossroads Country Club Pet Resort is a licensed, insured, and veterinarian-recommended pet care facility dedicated to exceptional care for canine companions.
We provide large outdoor grass play yards, home-like boarding options, and a VIP (Very Important Pooch) daycare program that delivers daily enrichment beyond group play.
Our team brings over 40 years of combined dog training and behavior modification experience and more than 20 years of excellence in pet care.
Staff are trained members of the International Boarding and Pet Care Services Association.
An attendant lives on-site for added safety and continuity, and we offer a Pet Health Warranty and Loyalty Rewards for client peace of mind.
Whether dogs thrive in supervised group play or need one-on-one attention, our staff are skilled at recognizing when veterinary care or extra TLC is needed to keep every guest comfortable, safe, and happy.
Job Details — Operations Manager
Type: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Position requires coverage across seven days; mornings, afternoons, and evening shifts.
Expect a rotating schedule to ensure facility oversight and staff support throughout the week.
Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring health, safety, cleanliness, and excellent guest experience
Manage staffing: hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive team culture
Implement and monitor SOPs, sanitation protocols, and animal handling standards
Ensure high-quality care in boarding, daycare, and VIP programs; coordinate with trainers and veterinary partners as needed
Track and analyze KPIs (occupancy, retention, revenue per guest, incident reports) and implement operational improvements
Handle customer service escalations, client relations, and on-site problem resolution
Support retail and sales initiatives, upselling services, and maintaining client engagement programs
Maintain compliance with licensing, insurance, and industry best practices
Ideal Candidate
We’re seeking a dependable, experienced operations leader with strong animal care instincts and proven people-management skills.
We would prefer a candidate with substantial experience in pet boarding, dog daycare, or a comparable animal care environment
Deep understanding of animal behavior and training principles; ability to coach staff in best practices
Prior staff management experience, including scheduling, training, and performance coaching
Strong customer service and sales aptitude; comfortable handling client concerns and upselling services
Analytical skills to monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Physical ability to participate in hands-on care and respond to operational needs
