Job Details:

  • We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable mid-day dog walkers to join our team and perform neighborhood dog walks in small groups.

  • Our clients are located in and around Capitol Hill, including the H St/Atlas District and the Navy Yard.

  • Staff must have consistent access to a bicycle, scooter or safe, reliable and insured vehicle to quickly and safely travel from one client residence to another.

  • Conducting safe and enjoyable dog walks in small groups.

  • Managing multiple dogs, ensuring their safety and comfort.

  • Utilizing our advanced pet care software for scheduling and communication.

  • Providing excellent customer service to clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Comfortable handling and managing multiple dogs simultaneously.

  • Physically fit to walk dogs for extended periods outside during all four seasons.

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • A genuine passion for animals and animal advocacy.

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.

  • Availability from 10am to 4pm, Monday - Thursday.

  • This job is perfect for individuals with flexible schedules, such as stay-at-home parents, freelancers, college students with flexible classes, retirees, or those working part-time in the evening.

  • Candidates with prior professional or volunteer experience will be given strong consideration.

Compensation:

  • $1500-$2500 to start, based on client demand. Senior dog walkers can earn up to $4000 monthly.

Job Type: Part-time
